| General Note |
- General note - To the left of the church and connected to it by the baptistery is a 5-story, slightly tapered bell tower. It measures some 40 to 50 feet high and overlooks the northern shore of Marinduque and the small islands of Polo, Maniwaya and Mongpong which all belong to the municipality of Santa Cruz. Abraded plaster coating shows the brickwork of the tower. The octagonal bell tower is five stories high. Like the church to which it is connected and the nearby convento, the tower is built out of bricks and rubble, reminiscent of an old fort. (also see CH00828) YYY
