General Note
  • General note - Photo shows the fortress-like church built in the 1800s by Fr. Lorenzo Cordon. Zamboanguita used to be an important port in the Visayas, the counterpart of Zamboanga in Mindanao, during the Spanish regime. Shoal water extends nearly a quarter mile southward from Zamboanguita Point and the town is concealed by thick vegetation. YYY
