| General Note |
- General note - Main door to the church and fort, in Roman Style, is flanked by two Spanish steel cannons, used by the government militia quartered here and now serve as ornamental items. The Spaniards abandoned the fortress in 1898; it was converted into a church in 1904. Main support of the facade are rectangular piers on top of which have been placed life-size statues of angels holding receptacles. On the center is the religious insignia of the Augustinians in stucco. (also see CH00895) YYY
