- Title - Mangaldan Church, Pangasinan
|
| Notes |
- Notes - A view of the church and the municipal hall of Mangaldan. Mangaldan was established as a parish by the Dominicans on June 2, 1600, and was placed under the patronage of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Its first parish priest was Fr. Pedro de Ledesma. The construction of the first town church was made possible by the generosity of Don Pedro Casipit, a local landowner who initially opposed the evangelization efforts of the Dominicans but was later baptized to the faith.
