| General Note |
- General note - Photo of the western wall and transept of the church built in 1738. Lukban was the second parish established (1595) by the Franciscans in the province of Tayabas, next to that in the provincial capital (also named Tayabas), which was founded 15 years earlier. Evangelization started there in 1578 when the Franciscan friars, Diego de Oropesa and Juan de Placencia, baptized the residents. YYY
