| General Note |
- General note - Hardwood images of St. Joseph and the Child Jesus in the baptistery altar. The base has the image of Jesus in his deathbed. One historic feature of the church of Las Piñas is the 300-year-old narra statue of St. Joseph, the town's patron saint. A tale still circulating among the faithful there has it that the relic was brought from the parish of Parañaque, from which Las Piñas was carved off 1767, for a mere two dozen eggs. This was circa 1795. The statue of Santo Sepulcro (the dead Christ) in the church is also reputed to be as old as that of Saint Joseph. The statue has movable arms that can be spread out to be nailed to the cross on Good Fridays. (also see CH01110) YYY
