  • General note - A photo of the church taken during the American occupation. The church was built in 1620 by the Jesuit Fathers who administered the parish until 1768. The church and the adjoining novitiate were dedicated to San Pedro in memory of Fr. Pedro de los Montes, the builder of the church, and Captain Pedro de Britto, chief constable of the Audiencia who donated the site to the Jesuits in 1607. YYY
