| General Note |
- General note - The brick facade of the church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Concepcion. Conception, formerly called "Matundok" or "Matondo", lies on the southeastern tip of Tarlac. Originally, it was part of Magalang, Pampanga until a great flood in 1863 sent its inhabitants fleeing to safer grounds. The people then set up the community in the present area and named it after the Blessed Virgin. (Source: Tarlac: Prehistory to World War II, Margarita Cojuanco, 1997) YYY
