- General note - The church of Saint Sebastian in San Narciso, Zambales. The creation of the town of San Narciso started from a simple petition for the establishment of a school in barrio Alasis. On May 10, 1846, the Alcalde Mayor also proposed the formation of a new pueblo and a parish to be consisted of the barrios of Alasis, Bobolon and Sindol. Later, on June 22 of the same year, Governor General Narciso Claveria issued a decree forming the new town, and was given the name San Narciso. (Source: Zambales, Ramon de Jesus, 1990) YYY
