| General Note |
- General note - This 26.10 square kilometer-town is traversed and bounded at the south by the navigable Angat river. Limiting it at the north is Apalit, at the east is Baliwag and at the west is Calumpit. An Augustinian religious mission dedicated to San Isidro Labrador was established in Pulilan in 1749, leading to the construction of this church. In 1880, an earthquake caused great damage to the church. Fr. Miguel Celis subsequently repaired the edifice. The mission was dedicated to San Isidro Labrador after whom the town was named for sometime. It was however changed to Pulilan, a contraction of the Tagalog phrase "pulo ng ilan."YYY
