| General Note |
- General note - A rare find in church architecture is the espadaƱa type belfry used in the Vigan cemetery chapel. It is a small projection at the top of the charming facade, where bells are hung, topped by small scrolls and with caryatids holding up the corners of the lowermost order of pilasters. This seems to have gone out of fashion in the Philippines with the construction of proper belltowers. YYY
