- Notes - Oton Gold Ornaments. Three of the valuable gold jewelry items excavated from the Oton grave-yards are shown in photo. The gold earrings on both sides (about an inch in diameter) are for the men while that at the center, smaller and decorated with minute dangles, is for the women. Most of the gold earrings from Oton are circular and attached to the earlobes. In front is a gold foil lid for a jarlet of the same materials.
