| General Note |
- General note - It is supposed that this "Kumintang" was popular even before the Spanish conquest. This version was published in Paris in the middle of the nineteenth century in J. Mallat's Les Philippines, a very rare edition... Batangas was formerly called "Kumintang." The class of ancient war songs was designated by the same name. Today a flowering shrub is called "Kumintang."
