This issue [Vol.4, No. 9 (Aug.17, 1945)] is of the American edition (from March 1945 there was a Far East edition, printed in Manila), and contains sketches of the Sultan of Sulu, an article on the use of searchlights in fighting the Japanese in the Philippines, the rescue of a WAC in a plane crash in New Guinea, scenes of US cities and other features of interest to the American soldier as the war came to an end. - Prof. Ricardo T.
