The intellectual property rights (IPR) of authors, publishers, and other copyright owners are continuously violated due to the availability of copying, scanning, and Internet technologies in the country. These concerns will be the focus of the 3rd LibraryLink Conference entitled Beyond Librarianship: Information as a Way of Life to be held from October 17 to 19 at the Filipinas Heritage Library.

FHL hosts Pamana: A Seminar on Built Heritage Conservation

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Nielson Tower and Airport and the 16th anniversary of the Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL), a special seminar on built heritage conservation was held at the FHL Reading Room on August 23. Organized in cooperation with the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS), the seminar, entitled Pamana, attracted architects, tourism professionals, real-estate developers, and others.
